- This blog is dedicated to showcasing the furniture design and construction of yours truly, Peter Deeble. I build furniture in my garage-turned-studio in Long Beach, California. I began building things with my dad as a kid, fashioning my own cases for records and instruments and other such wares. I also built countless skateboarding ramps with my friends. As long as I can remember I've had a proclivity for inventing and creating things, and as such woodworking has always been a natural outlet for that. A few years ago my attention turned to furniture as my passion for carpentry deepened. Hey Pete! Love this. Funny thing...I sent Lance to Ikea this week to see if they had step stools. All they had was a plastic white one with black dots (for traction). Not what I had in mind.
